Paddle a bit. Git on up on your feet. Now that’s a feeling. The ocean lifts you right up. But the best part has to be trailing your fingers in the wall of the wave under the curl. It’s not as good as running a twig down a length of picket fence, but it’s pretty good.

Of course, no one touched him when he was on the ground. He should have been able to get up and run in for a score, but it appears as if the ref blew the play dead, assuming he had been touched. And then, get this, the player handed the ball to the ref and went to the huddle with his teammates. He didn’t posture and preen and dance around like a jerk. Wonders never cease in this world.
This guy, here, however, is the real deal. He’s kind of lazy, of course, or he’d be riding up the hill. He’s practicing for some sort of Afghani paper route or something. The flip during the jump over the canyon would no doubt be useful for evading incoming RPGs and assorted flak.

So the New England Patriots lost a football game on Sunday, called for Pushing and Shoving Without A Hall Pass, or maybe it was Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Dad, He’s Looking At Me, or perhaps someone used salty language or something. I really couldn’t figure out what they were talking about, and am beginning to lose interest. Go be concussed somewhere else.
But every once in a while, football-like behavior is detected. It’s almost worth wading through the commercials to see it. By the way, speaking about the commercials, doesn’t anyone in America have a vehicle to drive already, and why can’t they get a boner? And what exactly are you and the old lady gonna do in two bathtubs?
