When I was commissioner of the Silly Name Preservation Society, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch was one of my favorite places to visit. When I wasn’t greeting dignitaries from Bangkok, Middelfart, and Crapstone, I would spend all of my time thinking about the soft pastures of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch .

I always knew Google would betray us, but I never thought it would be like this. I thought they’d just sell all of our information to Russian gangsters and leave it at that. Who knew that they would help create these lumbering monstrosities. They can barely keep a search engine running, and now these freaks are supposedly going to be our chauffeurs. They’re going to send out terrifying, semi-drunk robots to run through the woods and find us wherever we are. Any time we google something, a robot is going to come lumbering out of the woods and blurt out the first ten things that Google autocompletes on your iPhone.

It takes hours, maybe even minutes, of hard work and dedication to cook a succulent meal. Entire relationships can be made or broken by your ability to cook.

You can even save your own life someday by knowing how to cook. All that dry pasta in your pantry can be used for a lot more than pasta art. Someday, you might have to boil that pasta. After that, you might even have to eat it. I don’t know if you’ll be ready for that if you forget about the importance of cooking.
