The guy with the flags kills me.
US Navy uses a system on some helicopters at sea in rough weather. The copter hovers over the ship’s landing area and drops a steel cable. Cable is attached to winch on ship’s deck. At the appropriate time the winch is quickly employed to pull the copter to the deck.
