You have the right to remain Russian and to refuse to use turn signals. The total destruction of wide swathes of urban roadside objects and other cars may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to crash into an attorney before colliding with a police car, and to have an attorney present, lying in the road or on a gurney, during questioning.
I remember Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen. They had a minor hit with a cover version of Hot Rod Lincoln. I can still recite the lyrics:
Now the boys all thought I’d lost my sense,
them telephone poles looked like a picket fence.
They said “slow down, I see spots,”
the lines on the road just looked like dots.

That sound.
Well, it’s not just a sound. If you’re in the grandstands or the infield, close to the track, the sound is mixed with a palpable vibration and a whoosh of air being pushed aside. It’s great to see the cars from a ground level, too, like in this video.
You know, it’s hard to decide whether you’re going to be afraid of a bear. We were raised on Yogi and Boo Boo. They weren’t about to scare anybody. Ranger Smith was a little “off,” though. Something not quite right about that guy. I imagine he eventually got a job with the TSA to get in on all the frisking. Yogi Bear and Boo Boo went back to raiding pic-a-nic baskets in peace.
