I very much hope that pilot’s sinuses are crystal clear. I was watching that tail rotor real close.
I’ve flown with these pilots – it looks spectacular and very dangerous – and make no mistake, it is, but its not due to the flying – it’s the static balancing that is the real trick. These helicopters have had their EMM (engine management modules) heavily shielded, but occasionally the shielding will break down and all hell breaks loose in the cockpit.
