You would have thought he got just the tiniest bit of up, but nooooooo.
I’m thinking there was too much parasite drag for the amount of gravity present on that overcast day.
what fascinates me about these films is the creativity and tenaciousness of the creators of these machines, and the willingness of others to try the machines. That undulating umbrella machine is always a favorite. That guy was a good mechanic. A little soft in the physics department, but a good mechanic. you don’t often see that kind of ingenuity any more.
