Maybe it’s just me, but auto racing doesn’t seem to have the pizzazz it used to have. Even this Ferrari F 187 is too “new” for my tastes. I much prefer watching the old footage of colorful men driving black and white cars. Now the men are colorless.
We played hockey. In the street. We played Frisbee. In the street. We played Wiffle Ball. In the Street. We played Knock-Down with our baseball cards. Against the curb. In the street.
But then again, I don’t really care what’s going on. All I know is I love it. I could go to this match and sit in the stands all day and enjoy the hell out of it. I’d never catch on to the rules of the scoring, or develop an affinity for one team over another. I’d be like a girl at a football game.
You will notice they are unconcerned about maiming themselves, but they are worried about copyright infringement of a song they sing while they work. That’s what you learn in school, nowadays.
