OK, It’s July 5th. Summer’s About Over. Pool’s Closed
I live in Maine. Summer’s the nicest day of the year here.
(Thanks to longtime reader Charles Schneider for sending that one along)

So let me see if I got this straight. Summer is over so instead of draining the portable pool, folding it up and storing it for use next Summer, he shoots it instead.
Makes sense to me. NOT!!
Re: Blog design -It wasn’t broke, I liked it better as it was.
Hi Tom- Are you looking for “sense” on this website? This site is devoted to unsense.
Hi soubriquet- Thanks for reading and commenting. It was “broke” for many people. It’s a video site, and took forever to load on some machines because of all the embedded videos displayed on the main page. Now they’re thumbnails, and the page displays faster for everybody.
Whatever it takes, Sipp. We have this same pool. Got it when the pool membership got too expensive. Too many big kids pushing the little ones around there, too. The pool paid for a year’s membership, and now it’s just freebies. We have great times in our little pool, and it would be a terrible loss to just shoot it. Having said that…it was fun to watch.
