Huh, I Don’t Remember This Episode of Star Trek

Huh, I Don’t Remember This Episode of Star Trek

This reminds me of a disco band I used to play in back in the day: The Spanish Dancing Mongoose. We had a zither, accordion, and church organ in our band. We would tour Chicago (Kansas) and do disco covers of famous Beatles songs like “The Fool On The Hill” and “For No One.” We also played our own songs, too, and most of them were in Arabic scales. Our lyrics didn’t have any meaning, but we liked to use the word “ergo” a lot.

We held the Guinness world record for “Best Disco Band in the World.”

Welcome to day 1 of our startup company, gentleman. What is our startup about? It’s about making things better in the world of technology. We are determined to expand upon the future of tech, as we are passionate about computer science and the world. We can do this!

Our first step is to gather a bunch of expensive hard drives and make a symphony orchestra out of them. Theoretically, we will magically have money after this.

I used to live in a crowded apartment building, where I would blast my favorite Steely Dan records over the loudspeakers. I got similar results as this guy. The music was so loud the furniture was moving. You’d think this would bother the neighbors, but strangely, they never said anything about it. Eventually, I decided to do an experiment: how loud can I make the music before the neighbors complain? I’d turn up my speakers a little more every night, but still didn’t get any visitors. Finally, after five days of blasting Steely over the speakers, the landlord came over and said, “The other tenants are complaining that no matter how loudly they knock on your door, you never answer it.”

Elvis was looking forward to his next gig. Things were looking up for him. He marched onto the stage with confidence. However, after the spotlight came on, he realized that he forgot all of his songs. Suddenly, Elvis was nervous and fearful. In the heat of the moment and without any songs to sing, he just decided to do whatever. The King danced like a maniac and buffed the floor with his shoes. He smacked his guitar over and over, only sometimes producing an actual tone. Finally, he threw in some hollers here and there for good measure. It was the silliest show in his entire career.

And the crowd goes wild.
