Those socks, by the way, are Great American Knitting Mills 513-H Gold-Toe Over-The-Calf socks, and I’ve been rocking those babies since…oh, about then. I buy ’em by the gross every 10 years or so, and having no stripes, I never have to sort them. And yes, I do get teased mercilessly by the other kids.
