After 8 minutes in micro, potatoes started to get a bit…gummmy. Gave up and finished under the broiler. Next batch was all broiler and took less time and tasted better. Maillard Reaction is difficult to achieve in microwave due to high moisture/short cooking time (that’s why “Hot Pockets,” et al, have those cardboard/foil sleeves). Just sayin’…
