There’s something calm about longboarding videos. You see them rolling, and you get the same feeling you’d have if you rolled down the window of your car and cruised along a winding road out in the willie wacks.

Of course if you were on the board, you’d be keyed up like a skydiver. There’s a lot of balance issues to take care of, and holding a crouch like that is physically demanding. They’re rolling in a crowd, too, which adds to the chance that a right turn in NASCAR could break out at any moment.
