Dang! Born too soon.
I still have the remnants of my Erector set downstairs–it has an electric motor but not near that fancy.
“Programmable” — Dint know that word had been invented yet.
What I wish I could find is my Tinker Toys. Dad made a motor for me for it –little moter from I know not what, a transformer, switch and reduction pulley made from two airplane (probably DC3) control-cable pulleys glued together.
